if i lay an original on the glass i can get 1 copy out of the machine. if i place 2 originals in the df it is supposed to go down into the duplex first then shoot it out but its going face up right out of the machine stopping half way out past the exit switch jammed. i removed the finisher on this one to test this. is there a setting i'm missing. i checked duplex mode and it is set to 1 to 1. i swapped the entire exit area and duplex unit but no luck. the exit gate solenoid... I know this is a fan failure. The 2 fans on the left above the fuser are running all the time as long as the machine is powered on. The rear fan (same type as ones on the left side) does not run at all, even in service/output mode. The fan itself is ok. I ran a voltage check and found no or very low voltage. Any suggestions?

anyone seen this noise b-4 on a K3 it's hooked up to a 7200, only happens when running into the finisher stapler tray, does not happen when running to upper tray. It's thick moving parts in that tray, almost jungle like.
sounds like a belt tension issue or bushing

I am getting intermittent jamming at the drum/registration that creates accordion/fan paper there. When it does it my customer says it does it several times in a row but once I get there and start running the machine it works just fine. The customer is running two sided, letter prints. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have an issue with the scanning function of the device not sending emails, apparently the queue just sits there? Is there any sort of log files or similar that can be viewed to determine if the device is in fact even attempting to send.
I know all DNS ,LDAP,WINS and domain settings are correct.

Guys, I just bought a Canon ir5070 Repo machine with 18k on it. The machine was sold to me knowing it had a dark shade on one side of the copy, Mike you saw the photos. Well Keith helped me out today and advise me to check and adjust the primary charger height. I used a ruler to balance it and sure as shit , it was off and I corrected it.
Here is now my problem, I went into error history and saw the error code EOO61-0002 about 50 times in two years.

How do I tell if the Bootrom in the machine is an "N" version? When I picked the machine up, it was supposed to have the N bootrom already installed by the wholesaler. I am trying to flash to N version system software, but the tool says the connected type is different. I did the hDformat. I can install Copier software though. will this message pop up when trying to install N software when a C chip is installed?

This error code will NOT stay away. I can't be going out to this customer every month to clean this stupid P-Sens over and over and over and over. I have replaced the drum (customer scratched it with a letter opener!!!), re-calibrated, removed & inspected the ITB (that's a treat), looks passable. OK, you experienced Canon techs, is there a permanent fix for this? I can't be pulling any more hair out... there's not much left!HEEELLLPPP!!! ... [Read More]

I picked up one of these at the wholesaler. the machine didn't have scan and print, but he gave me a set separately. When I got to the shop, I put them in which was straight forward. The print works great, however, the scan sends blank documents, or with just some lines on the page. the originals are face up in the feeder. Copying works fine through the feeder. I can pull up the scanner in the web browser and communicate with it and all that good stuff. Connection isn't a problem. Is there... [Read More]
