Nice Pictures.
What keeps the Islands from sinking?
Seriously. With all the huge building, what keeps them from just sinking into the sand?

The building and some of the larger islands.
What about some of the smaller ones that are largly populated but no huge buildings. I noticed a couple in some of the background shots.
Sea walls and I guess they are pretty much large concrete pads with elaborate gardens?
I would love to visit in the future. Let me build my paradise in Texas and then I will take over the north.

I can see the concert area but I do not see the brick structure.
That is alright though, I understand your concern.
We all live in an area that has one disaster or another. I live in tornado alley and flash floods are a common thing. Where you live would be impressive but the traffic and people would annoy the hell out of me to tell you the truth.

Would you believe that I hate going into the city? So close but I keep it so far. I really don't like crowded places, I go to the City to see a Hockey Game once in a while, when I was working for the big Dealer in the 80's, I was sent to Manhattan to train techs, The tit and ass was out of this world but deep down I hated it.
The last time I saw that Statue of Liberty was when I was 10! The Empire State Building was when I was 8.
I guess when things are at your fingertips, you overlook them. Its hard to go into the City and seeing a Vacant spot where once stood the Twin Towers, those Coward Pieces of Shit Destroyed a part of this City.
When I think of this I see Red Man!
I would love to hang with you guys though!!!!!!

Mike that tower is about 80 years old and its getting a facelift as we speak, it holds water for the nearby beaches and parks.
